My professional story
Thanks to a never-ending curiosity about how our universe works, I decided to pursue a Master of Science in Engineering Physics at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden, in 2012. That should have taken 5 years, but my love for culture, music and creativity led me to study music composition and orchestration 2015-2017, in parallel with my engineering studies. Even though my music was nominated for Best Audio Design at the Swedish Game Awards in 2016, I decided that the natural sciences are what I want to explore during my professional career. After graduating in 2019, luck would have it that I got offered a PhD position in plasma physics and fusion energy at the Technical University of Denmark, Copenhagen. I accepted and so, between 2019-2022, I got to contribute to the field of energetic particle physics, travel to fusion experiments in the USA, France and the United Kingdom, as well as successfully defend my PhD dissertation in February of 2023. During the celebration following my defense, I got offered a postdoc position which I later accepted. In 2025, I was awarded the EUROfusion researcher Bernard Bigot grant which has enabled me to currently work on enhancing energetic particle research using the tools of artificial intelligence. In the future, I would like to continue to contribute to a sustainable planet, preferably via developing advanced technology. At the very end of my career, I see myself becoming a teacher because it is our duty to pass on what we have learned in life and, to the best of our ability, prepare the next generation to build upon our work.

I am an open-minded and humble person but can be assertive when needed. I communicate well, both as a speaker and in groups, but also person-to-person. I try to have a scientific approach to problems, emphatic approach to interactions, a curiosity whenever suitable and a little bit of playfulness when appropriate.
